@amro it's weird, I can see the logged out experience but login doesn't work. I wouldn't be surprised if something web-specific is broken.

@streamofron I can't even find the PayPal link? Happy to chip in, I didn't see it on the "About" page for the instance or your profile....
@tessr I started on mastodon.cloud because Mekka Okereke was there, and he's someone I generally trust. But the admin structure was a little opaque, so when I found out that there was a server specifically run by-and-for ex-Tweeps, I moved. Felt like it was less likely to run into trouble in six months, and equally likely to exist (or not) in three years, so I moved before investing any time or effort on the platform. (Hi! glad/sorry you left Twitter in the appropriate ratio!)

@pretz I wish there were a way to only post to one server, the local feed here is pretty great.

I don't mind if it's not big. If it's a weird niche site where I can keep up with a few friends maybe that's okay? It won't have the feral hog moments that made Twitter so special, but those are already on TikTok anyway.
