@tessr I started on mastodon.cloud because Mekka Okereke was there, and he's someone I generally trust. But the admin structure was a little opaque, so when I found out that there was a server specifically run by-and-for ex-Tweeps, I moved. Felt like it was less likely to run into trouble in six months, and equally likely to exist (or not) in three years, so I moved before investing any time or effort on the platform. (Hi! glad/sorry you left Twitter in the appropriate ratio!)
