@mothninja we sometimes run through the thought experiment of "if it gets bad enough here, where would we go" and we have never come up with a place that doesn't seem like it's one bad election from turning into the US.

Like Florence is probably my favorite city on the planet (and I have you to thank for that, ILUSM) but then I think "well, but the Catholics, and also the Italians elected Berlusconi twice"
