Los Angeles contains the sublime and the ridiculous. Today on the way to my hike in Griffith Park I saw L’il Sebastian pulling a woman and her two French bulldogs in a tiny carriage, then I hiked to see a breathtaking view of the LA basin. I love it here!

Not the best visibility today, but there’s something cool about downtown LA lurking in the shadows, just out of sight as you hike. A good reminder that a walk outdoors can really transport you even if you don’t go very far.

About to see Dawes at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta. First concert since the pandemic started and first time seeing Dawes in probably 5 or 6 years.
