Been away a while, trying to get a handle on all the things. Everything has been too much. In an effort to help my brain, I sprung for a Supernote Nomad after hearing repeatedly good things about it from a friend.

It came yesterday! I lucked out and got an open box tablet, folio, and pen. I like being able to set my own screensaver, and the new sticker functionality is lovely!

Still very much getting the hang of how to navigate and get it to do things I expect, why trying very hard not to overcomplicate things off the bat.

So far I am using it in the morning as a brain dumb before I start work — the kind of stuff I don’t want to type out OR write with actual ink. I think this will be a great happy medium for getting things out of my brain. #supernote
Been a while since I posted… but I made an index card holder out of Lego recently. I wish I had more colors to work with to make the color scheme more consistent, but I still like it! #Lego #legophotography #fountainpens #fountainpenink
The first patent for what became known as a fountain pen appeared in 1809 and commercial success followed in 1819 when John Scheffer patented his "Penographic" pen. #pen #fountainpen #history #writinghistory
The development of fountain pens saw the problem of ink leakage (and staining fingers) becoming a problem and by the late 1890s inventors were producing "safety pens". One of the first was George Safford Parker who released the Parker Jointless in 1898. #pen #fountainpen #history #writinghistory
