With props to @omaholic for the inspiration, here's my take on The Final Ward:
The Final Ward
- 3/4 oz rye (Sazerac)
- 1/3 oz de la Grande Chartreuse
- 1 oz maraschino liqueur (Caffo)
- 3/4 oz lemon juice
I bumped up the maraschino , as Caffo isn't quite as strong as Luxardo. As for Chartreuse, Vegetal de la Grande is what I could find & it's more concentrated (69% ABV) than the standard, but hard to find. Very tasty, sophisticated, the citrus notes are strong.
Gonna help out my friends at #primitivebeer by bussing glasses at their first hot beer event of the season, and thought warming up with Dead Sea Apes and Black Market Brass would do the trick. Some fanfuckingtastic brewers will be there today, with special offerings designed to be red hot pokered - Burns Family, Weldwerks, New Image, Cohesion among them. #nowplaying
I'm not much for ranking music per se, but holy hell, the brand new Dead Meadow album, Force Form Free, is an instant #psych classic, and a 2022 favorite of mine already. #deadmeadow
