Good news for more than 804,000 borrowers – the Biden administration is providing $39 billion in debt relief! Eligible borrowers will receive notifications in the coming days.

The bird site gave independent writers the bird today.

Today, Twitter started disabling comments, replies, likes, retweets and even the ability to pin tweets that include a Substack link, according to a lot of writers I follow. My own have been throttled completely.

This piece I wrote a few months ago feels as relevant I was ever. https://lgumbinner.substack.com/p/twitter-you-break-my-heart

Are you good at doing nothing? Should you be?

Are you good at doing nothing? It’s a question I’ve been thinking about a lot. And for those of us who see ourselves as productive and sufficiently busy, those of us who are providers, earners or creators, I’d like the answer to increasingly be, “yes.” I’d like for us to see that doing nothing can be something in itself, and not necessarily the lack of an activity deemed more essential.

For once and for all… 🤦🏻‍♀️

🚨Sharing some of the things we can do to fight book bans, the silencing of diverse voices, and the creep of government-sanctioned censorship. It’s scary and it’s important.
