@gethin76 I've heard they're not taking responsibility for any damage to properties next to the high street bridge that was demolished or offered any compulsary purchase beforehand. Feel for the businesses there too. The Station and Drovers were both open yesterday, there's a cafe on the corner only open until 2pm. Was thinking of asking the owner what vegetarian food she has so we can order from her. All support helps! It was like a ghost town with no cars 🫤

@gethin76 Definitely, both of the Cefn High Street and Taff Trail bridges have been demolished (there is a temporary walk bridge in place) They're already strengthening the Taf Fechan viaduct on either side ready for widening the road. The flyover in the image is in the process of being joined, they've put an overhead bridge in place over the bypass towards Cefn / Brecon (just off the roundabout)

Yesterday's walk up the Taff Trail showing my partner Clint the Cefn Viaduct for the first time. They're definitely getting progress in with dualling the A465 road!
