Birthday E-Book Sale
My birthday is Tuesday, and to make myself feel better about continued aging, I'm having a sale on the electronic editions of all my books. The promotion is good everywhere (except the Zon). I decided back in 2022 that my weird middle aged white guy hobby was going to be astrophotography, which is a great way to spend a lot of money being cold and cranky. I feel like just over 2 years in, I have a solid grasp on capturing. At this point, I need to learn how to go about processing the images I gather.

Election Day
It's Election Day. A few minutes past noon where I am. Feels like seconds to midnight. Feels like time isn't moving at all. We knew it was going to be a stressful day, so Sydney and I decided to get the hell out of town. We cast our ballots early and took a few days off, booked a cabin in the absolute middle of nowhere.

Recent Astrophotography
I decided back in 2022 that my weird middle aged white guy hobby was going to be astrophotography, which is a great way to spend a lot of money being cold and cranky. I've come a long way in just under two years, but I have - as predicted - spent a lot of money. I started things out with a pretty cheap telescope and held my smartphone up to the eyepiece.
