Policymakers in every other country should look at this and consider how it is any different to PRISM.

If you squint just right, you can see big food companies as intermediaries that enshittify their products because their incentives are not aligned with those of their users/customers. People aren’t forced to use their “platforms” (vs cooking fresh food themselves) but in doing so they sacrifice cost advantages and convenience.
