@cpoliticditto I joined and have found it pretty open and friendly. There are some strong opinions against the founder, but that hasn't impacted the overall user.
The drama was over the TOS that the users voted on. I liked the fact that they polled the users and made decisions based on responses.
IMO, people are trying to rebuild what they had on Twitter, and that may not be so easy. I am keeping my options open and testing each of them out.

It would be great if there was an artist server where we could browse through to find artists. I wouldn't know who to even search for.
Maybe that is something Mastodon could help with. A boutique type server where those who know who's who could gather.
