She also plays fetch with little wrapped bits of foil.

Saw a post the other day saying that cats meow more at men, with it supposing that men don’t pick up what the cats are after as quickly.
What do you think my cat wants? And she sits next to, and paws at, her food container?
Also dear god I wish she only meowed 4.3 times. (Yes I’m misrepresenting the number of meows that the study’s stated.)

Didn’t intend to dress up the dog for Halloween but here we are. Does Willow look better as an anglerfish trying to trick you into giving pets, or a doctor prescribing pets?

Did some kayaking on lake superior (close to shore) a couple of days ago and got this great pic of the sleeping giant. (Yes this is where it actually was-I could see the outline through the haze some of the time)

Found the culprit!
I checked every vent like 3 times and finally thought to look behind the bookshelves.
This one is in a corner at an angle so there’s space behind it.
I probably forgot to use screws when I was painting last year and someone finally pried it open without me hearing it fall.

I’ve been in this house for 13 years and 5 cats (8 if we count the temporary ones) have lived here.
Today I fished the youngest out of the vents. I haven’t a clue how she managed to get in there.
(She’s fine.)

I got a dog trailer for my bike!
Puppy isn’t sure about it but my oldest cat loves it.

Recently had leg surgery (I assume minor-draining some mystery abscesses) and I’m supposed to elevate my leg.
I put a pillow up on my desk to help with this.
Anyone with a cat knows where this is going.
