I love to read books, a lot of them are scifi and fantasy - I like to be transported to a different world that the writer created.

I also read some of the classics and recently I started reading novels recommended for their work with language, tone and structure - like Linn Ulmann, Deborah Levy, ...

I love to get recommendations on authors/book to read!

Chat Control May Finally Be Dead: European Court Rules That Weakening Encryption Is Illegal!

In a legal blow, it looks like Chat Control may not roll out client-side scanning. A huge win for privacy advocates!

Today marks the 34th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre. During my time living in China, I once asked my colleagues about this event, but they vehemently claimed to have no knowledge of it. This is a photograph of the aftermath, it's illegal in China.

I just finished Ursula K. Le Guin's 'The left hand of darkness'.

I think I liked it, but it is not a happy book, and I needed some breaks during reading.

It is a clever book - with some depths I probably didn't fully took in.

As a child I read the Earthsea novels and liked them, but for some reason I newer picked this one up, even as an adult, before now. The pace is slow, it reminds me a bit of Iain M. Banks: The bridge - the main character only reacting - a bit Kafkaesk...

#Introduction: Starting out #writing more seriously - after mostly doing short scenes, I attended a 6 weekend writing course and now I have the idea for a main character and a novel about her struggles.

A few scenes have been written and a first version of the plot. Now for working on getting it down on paper, and working on the tone of the novel.

I'm writing in #Danish, so I will probably not share texts here.

Hoping to share thoughts on the writing process.
