Today is Dad’s birthday. He’d have been 75. It was only just-shy-of 4 years ago, but it could just as easily be yesterday. Or 20 years. Time is goofy like that, and the chain of happenings that lead to us losing Dad is certainly an inflection point. There was the life I lived before all that, and then all that went down, and now I’m the person I am now—in the after.

@brentsimmons how is that different from adding an album to your Library? Or do you mean something like flagging/starring specific albums already in your library?

@mekkaokereke AGREED. I do 99.9% of my listening on streaming, but ultimately I want something physical to give to my son. I buy a copy of my favorites, even if they never get unwrapped. I’m not sending him a CSV of my digital collection as part of my will, you know?
