I went fishing at a small pond which surprisingly has a small population of northern pike, esox lucius.
What is perhaps even more surprising is that they are doing well enough to breed, because we saw 5-9 cm fry basically everywhere we looked long enough. Granted, most of them are likely eaten by their parents within winter, because pike are highly cannibalistic, but it's cool to see life thrive where it looks like there is none.

I just found out that you activate the ROM-Wack interface if instead of clicking the left mouse button you click the right mouse button. I have a vague memory of doing so and realising something else happened, but I'm not sure if this is really a false memory.

What did actually happen?

First catch of the year: Needlefish / belone belone.

Also, I should probably get new waders.
