The IMHO best example of an early 1980's band that was perfectly able to combine #Punkrock with #Rockabilly to a unique kind of #Psychobilly were the #Ricochets.

Their album "Made in the Shade" was a real milestone of the genre. After the band split up, the members became parts of other successful acts in the scene.

In the early 1980''s, Neo-Rockabilly bands like #Restless and #TheDeltas with their characteristic #UprightBass (also called #DoubleBass) were very successful.

Many of these bands still exist as of today.
