Meet Liwayway (Filipino for dawn), the latest addition to our growing family of rescues.
Liway, for short, was living rough in public spaces. Unfortunately, as she was blind, she was being roughed up by other cats and dogs alike! I knew I had to get her out of that situation. She is feral but she’s learning to accept our kindness. #CatsOfMastodon #Cats #rescue #straycats

I have a new rescue. I wasn’t looking for another dog at this time. But fate has other plans and we crossed paths. The vet believes she’s about 8 years old. She’s a street dog who sleeps under parked cars. I can’t imagine the hardship she’s had to face but I hope to give her a better future. I named her Hope. #dogsofmastodon
