After several attempts to approach this little guy and to get him to feel more comfortable getting closer, he has finally deemed me worthy of getting a glimpse of his little backside, enough to confirm that he is, indeed, a boy.

It 's usually not so difficult, but bless him, he is one of the most majestically pitch-black kittens I've ever seen. Only in a really well-lit spot are any, um, details visible. 😅
