@lauraamalasunta I wish Switzerland took part in similar EU initiatives instead of only ever doing separate data collection

It's important to teach how meditation works (in a health class for example) so that creepy cult persons can't exploit those who have never "focused on their breathing" for 40 seconds in their life and make them think a simple and effective exercise is some kind of new age magic.

Also, it is something people should know to deal with stress. Have you ever met someone who just... doesn't breathe-- they're wound up like a homemade speaker coil.

Time and time again, it's not enough to walk away to another younger closed off platform that seems good enough and similar enough right now. The long term plan needs to be to own the means of our communication, both privately as individuals, and collectively as communities.
Feministischer Streik AND a pride parade in one week. A busy week.

@shtwzrd unfortunately the substitutes I've tried did not really work on my layered system (incompatible glibc etc). I'll probably experiment a bit to see if this is a more basic problem with my setup, maybe I've missed symptoms of something like bad luks performance
are people already familiar with this story about hard-boiled eggs or did i just stumble upon an absolute gem of a cautionary tale about algorithmic perfection? (annals of the history of computing, january 1983, volume 5, issue 1)
