"Anarchist collectives" that warn users for discussing this conflict from outside the perspective of the western mainstream (it's "glorifying Russia" to discuss the nazis in Ukraine, the CIA in Ukraine, NATO's role in causing the conflict) are not long term places for me lol.

If anyone knows of any basic leftist spaces that 'tolerate' historical analysis and concepts that don't jive with mainstream concepts, lemme know.

My analysis is Marxist, I am anticapitalist and anti imperialist, my leanings are anarchist and communist, my understanding of history comes from basic education, a tiny bit of college, and years of reading historical texts and watching events unfold since the mid 80s, listening to Richard Wolff, Fraad, and Harvey on their programs, some Parenti, a casual understanding of philosophy, and a few other blurry, distant influences that I can't even recall anymore at my age and overall level of frustration at living in this country all my life.

This is why I asked others what their experience was with various instances across mastodon - I knew there was a good chance the first instances I found would be administered by people either unqualified to discuss the greater world histories required to possess basic competence in western history, or they would be potentially adversarial and uninterested in actual world history.

So I had a comment deleted and I was "warned" by a presumably anarchist admin of this instance about my analysis of the Ukrainian nazis, the relationship between US/Russia/NATO, and I believe the admin claimed I was claiming Russia was blameless despite my crystal clear comments that said no such thing.

The admin's message is below. This is very concerning to me and suggests I will have other problems here as well, such as with the topic of COVID masking and vaccine misinformation, etc, and this is too important to me to just ignore. I'll be finding another instance, once again, to call home. This is not acceptable, and I'll find you elsewhere.
