But if you name your band Temple of the Fuzz Witch, you have my attention. For so many reasons.
The first day back to work after a backpacking trip is always difficult. There are only a handful of concerns on the trail, and the rest is just peaceful cohabitation with nature.
I really like my job, but there are myriad concerns. Uncountable. And a schedule to maintain. And much less trail mix with peanut butter m&ms.
Better coffee, though.
Whew. I maybe have never had a truly decent guitar amp until recently (even for just practicing). I finally broke out my effects pedal collection.
Wow. I could sit all day and play fuzzy guitar riffs. I would never get bored. Fuzz + a lightly applied tremolo + a boost or overdrive to take it to the next level as needed? No wonder people go broke buying pedals.
My daughter wants to get some shrimp to go in her betta tank. I’m advocating for naming one of them Detlef Shrimp.
My daughter declared, “That’s it. I’m getting snails instead.”
I did yard work and then rode my bike to the store to get a box of wine. Pretty good day.
Oh right and work was good. But wine and outdoors. Ya know?
@soulcutter Haha oh man. Didn’t we enter dependencies into application.rb or the like for a while? And a rake command installed just those gems and gave up if things got weird? Can’t remember its name atm.
That said, Rails 1.2.3 felt so far ahead of everything at the time. I felt like a wizard.
