As an ex evangelical I can tell you what is wrong with Christianity. The entire Bible is built on a single premise: To please god people must reject all morality and instead embrace obedience to authoritarianism. Simplified: morality is bad, obedience is good.

If you accept this the words and actions of conservative Christians are perfectly understandable.

@cheetah_spottycat I have a Netflix subscription. For $10 a month it provides 95% of what my family watches so it is well worth it. For everything else there are the Torrents. Got s05 of Yellowstone just this morning!
