@sos I got those while posting, it stopped once I stopped (which make sense!)

Haha, listen. I was a HUGE advocate for Mastodon. I wanted nothing more than for this place to happen

But come on, it hasn’t. It’s genuinely amazing that people have found nice communities etc on here, I’m jealous!

But no, it hasn’t happened. And unfortunately, the setup of Mastodon (servers etc) likely means it can’t really ever go big.

I hope one day it does and you can all rub it in my face!!!

@el_rubino I think most metrics you could use would say it hasn’t happened. It could do! But it hasn’t. I don’t think I’ve seen a single news outlet ever use Mastodon as a source, which is a pretty good indication of having not happened yet
Checking in here again because of Elon. Man, I really wish Mastodon had happened. Cannot stand Twitter right now

“There’s no such thing as video game addiction!!!” he screamed

as he reached collector level 1200 in Marvel Snap

Alright

time to watch through the entirety of Bojack Horseman for the 6th time

This is a wanky toot, but I’m extremely excited about next year

We have several games coming out that I have been waiting literally years for, including new Hypnospace games, Spirittea, and a couple we haven’t announced yet

It’s quite nice when you enjoy your job

To be honest, I stopped posting here for awhile because everyone got distracted by Hive, and I couldn’t be arsed trying to build yet another social media presence from nothing. Kinda hating all social media right now, all makes me really sad

…but given the whole “Elon trying everything to stop Mastodon happening” thing at the moment, maybe I’ll just stick around to symbolically piss him off

A small difference I've discovered between Indie and AAA production:

I was talking to another producer who had switched from a 200-person studio to an indie producer of about 12 people. I asked them what the biggest challenge had been during the transition. They thought for a moment and said "people can just say 'no' to me."
