@daringfireball @gruber I mentioned this to Rob when he first posted but this block of Tahoe is in fact a bug: https://mastodon.world/@mikematter/115912693848180652 and I’m now seeing folks say when they update to 15.7.5 the profile stops working and you’ll see Tahoe in your Settings as an offered upgraded. That’s the expected behavior as the 90 day deferral was only ever meant to hide the update 90 days from its initial release. And we are well past 90 days from the first 26.0 release. So be warned if you update!

@[email protected] This seems like an interesting bug you’ve found. Apples deferral profile is suppose to delay the OS 90 days from its initial release, not 90 days from when the profile was installed. So I would expect your device to offer macOS 26.0 since we are past the 90 days from when that OS was released. A quote from Apples documentation on this feature: “When set, software updates only appear after the specified delay, following the release of the software update.” https://developer.apple.com/documentation/devicemanagement/softwareupdatesettingsdeferralsobject

@siracusa you mostly playing as solo? The game plays so different in my experience solo vs squad. Solos is like a horror game at times!
@siracusa really enjoyed the latest ATP and Rec Diffs on your adventures with Claude Code. I’d recommend giving Codex (using GPT 5.2 extra high — yes their naming still sucks) a go. It is quite impressive and I think is better then Anthropics models overall. I always start by making a plan with codex with defined implementation phases and then step through the plan one phase at a time versus trying to one shot things.
@rgriff I have a Mac running 15.1 and installing the profile leads to my Mac still offering 26.0.1. Yet a Mac on 15.7.3 with the same profile Tahoe is not offered at all. This is very likely a bug in 15.7.3.

@siracusa Getaway Artist on prismatic is just so insane still. I dabbled with nothing manacles given the scatter buff but had to go back to Getaway.
@marcoarment how do apps like that even get past approval given you can’t really have an app scan your whole iPhone for “viruses”. It’s just not possible with Sandboxing so it’s wild to me they approve this to begin with.
@overcastfm I love the stats screen! This is super niche request but any way to add podcasts together for stats purposes? I have listening time on both the ATP unedited stream and my member feed. Would love those numbers together so you all are my number 1 listened to show 😬
@unwatched I jumped on the train thanks to connected. Love the app! iCloud sync needs some work but otherwise it’s exactly what I want in a YouTube management app.
@viticci you have my interest! Been loving Hades 2 but hate being tied down to my PC to play.
