I pushed a big update to Order Automatica on Sunday: https://newbeings.itch.io/order-automatica

and here's the update devlog: https://newbeings.itch.io/order-automatica/devlog/561377/070-update-july-15-2023

If you've played the game and enjoyed it, I'd appreciate if you could give it a rating on itch because that seems to up my visibility a bit. ❣️

Did a sketch this weekend of an idea I've been thinking about for a while.

We got some really amazing new marketing art for our game Order Automatica by the artist Steven Hancher.

Meanwhile, we've been working on a really big update to the playable browser demo, while moving towards a Steam demo.

Did some paper prototyping last night for an idea inspired by Marvel Snap : )

Well, tomorrow I’m releasing a short game for free on Steam. Its a minimalist, top-down, souls-like. Mostly testing the waters to see if a game with such a dark and minimalist aesthetic has enough appeal to keep working on it

Steam:Void Sols: Prologue

Minimalist, Top-Down, Souls-Like. Manage your stamina, explore to find powerful items, and die, try, and die again.

@rmkubik @mickeysanchez I came here to say the same thing. I think you'll target different demographics with endless vs concise/games

kinda like Ryan said, people with less expendable income (aka, kids) may prefer games with longer playtimes
