Ahahahahahaha!!!

Meta just bought Moltbook!

You thought your FB feeds were bad now ... just wait 😆

Sincerely, somebody that ditched FB at the end of 2019!

Read below 👇 why you should start using LibreSpeed from now on for internet speed tests

"Speedtest and Downdetector were just sold to Accenture for $1.2 billion. (...) Ookla, the parent company of both tools, has been acquired by the global IT consulting giant Accenture (...).

The open source alternative: LibreSpeed. No tracking scripts, no GPS harvesting, no profile building, no ads and no data sold to anyone."

LibreSpeed - Free and Open Source Speedtest

Free and Open Source Speedtest. Run it right now in your browser, or self-host on a PHP, Golang, Rust or Node server. License: LGPL.

Well, time to find some tools that are likely to continue working I guess ...

Message removed, and I apparently have a bug in my blog autopost that I need to look at :)

And just found this little nugget:

"Refund notice: Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription"

WTAF? Cancelling your account doesn't cancel your subscription? So, what, I can remove my account and you can just randomly charge me in the future if you decide you're going to "upgrade" my non-existent account again??

Oh, immediately got a bot response back with info on how to delete my account, so I guess they don't even bother to read their own support tickets ...

Descript: 0/10 for support

So I cancelled my account at descript.com a while back. Current sub runs to feb 2026. Now I have a mail saying from Nov 2025 they will move me back onto a paid plan for $16/month.

WTF descript? Is that where we're at now? Are your profits falling and this is the solution, or are you just really bad at knowing what your customers are already paying for and what payment method they chose? Because either way, it's a pretty terrible look!
