@caseynewton do you think the new changes to IG will push LGBT teens to other parts of the web? Obvious dangers aside, I feel like it could be similar to the pre-social media days when you’d join a forum or smaller platform dedicated to your community, rather than a grand general purpose platform.

@gruber @john I mean clearly it doesn’t make him universally unappealing. But that’s besides the point, it’s that out of all the unattractive things he does that are entirely in his control, such as being an asshole, you’ve zeroed in on the one that’s not.

@gruber @oliverdarcy he is admittedly an asshole but his voice is due to a neurological disorder. There are plenty of other things to mock, let’s avoid the things entirely out of his control.
