@paul What I don't understand is why Apple makes the storage modular if it's not going to be user-upgradeable. We saw the same thing when the Mac Studio came out, and it was rumored that Apple would start selling upgrade kits, but that still hasn't happened.
@oopsallnaps I just wish web developers properly implemented the āalternateā meta tags to let visitors know RSS feeds exist for the site. Iāve been surprised at just how many sites donāt do that these days.

@paul I havenāt found one for non-Pro minis yet. I ended up going for the M4, 24GB, 1TB configuration. Should be plenty for my needs regardless.

Iām a big Linux fan, but Iāve decided to switch to macOS as my main desktop. Iāll of course still keep using Linux in my home lab, though.
Iāve been getting so frustrated with all the weird and annoying problems I keep running into when I try to use Linux on my main computer. Itās not distro-specific, they all have their quirks. Iāve managed to fix most of them, but itās become a game of whack-a-mole that Iām not willing to continue with.
I am NOT willing to go back to the mess that is Windows.

@nileane I exclude messaging apps from summaries because it tends not to work well. I also found that notifications from my security cameras don't work well with summaries. The same person can trigger the camera multiple times and Apple Intelligence will say something like "3 people were at your driveway".
Iāve said it before, and Iāll say it again. Brave is a sketchy company. Forget the fact that their CEO is a homophobic crypto bro; they riddle the browser with ads by default. Itās ironic, donāt you think? I guess everyone also forgot the time when they were injecting affiliate parameters into shopping links.
If youāre going to use a Chromium based browser, just use @Vivaldi and turn on the ad and tracker protection. Otherwise, use Firefox, which is not difficult to harden.
