Pier 80
I finally published a photoset of images I made over two weeks in Paris and Lyon last October. Some black & white, mostly color, all 35mm film...

The easiest way to approach Paris as a photographer is to follow Henri Cartier-Bresson's footsteps—shoot black & white film through a 50mm lens, capture "decisive moments" rich with the stark contrast framed by those old, narrow streets. But you're not Cartier-Bresson, and neither am I. And Paris is a city
We guard the giant porch marshmallow. We know not whence the danger may come.
Daydreaming.

This tiny piece was meant to be an experiment. Used gold paint for underpainting, and as a result, it has a soft glow, but no glittery feel. I finally framed it and took it to the gallery, and it was sold in two days. This is what I'll miss leaving the gallery; the direct feedback that people loved what I painted. The simplicity, the everyday scene had something that appealed to them.
