huge breakthrough in text rendering for long pi / cartouches today that requires much less manual labour. very happy with how it looks here

it still requires some manual labour for text with borders, but much less than it did this time yesterday

those long pi look soooo good I'm very happy

it was so much work to try and find a solution to this, but: the sitelen pona "long pi" is now connected properly (in card titles only)

at least now that I have this sorted for card titles it shouldn't be too bad to do basically the same thing for everywhere else where it's an issue

(please don't ask me how I made this work. and also don't look at the text shadow - fixing that seems nigh-on impossible without a major rewrite of libgdx code)
