@tcql The concept of free speech has become fetishized & perverted by alt-righters & trollbros to mean "I have the right to say whatever TF I want to whoever I want on every single platform, & if I can't, you're censoring me". We'll have to tightly enforce community standards on our own instances. Freedom of speech also means freedom from speech, & moderation isn't censorship. The trolls can go have their hate circlejerk on their own instance, but that shit's not welcome here.

@inmysocks @tcql I KNOW! "Y'all" is so useful and elegant, and it stinks that it has this unfair connotation of ignorance or lack of education. I hope it catches on broadly outside of the South and loses that.
