Happy #ForestFriday - Horse logging in N.Yorkshire earlier this year. Thinning a stand of larch. Might take a little longer but there’s less damage to standing timber and soils, with better opportunities for natural regeneration & maybe some understorey planting later on.

Genocides & other mass atrocity crimes begin with words - specifically, with powerful people dehumanizing a minority.

Once they are seen as less than human, anything is possible, even mass murder.

Cancelling plans is okay. Putting yourself first is okay. Going for a long walk is okay. Abandoning society is okay. Moving into a cave with a family of raccoons is okay. Giving them tiny swords & shields is okay. Do what you need to do to cope.
