With that incredibly Carroll sad story that was being recounted, there’s going to be tears and snot floating all throughout the cabin. #carrollsadstory #tearsandsnot #artemis2
Happy holidays! Probably my favorite stop-motion from the past few years. Really enjoyed creating this one.

@upgrade Need to add this one to your list of streaming services’ new age-y bongs. https://youtu.be/6sX_BfDnyrg?si=xKCLXz17b_-Q1_aC

One feature I would LOVE for Letterboxd to add: a simple note field where I can quickly jot down why I placed a movie in my Watchlist or where did I hear about it.
So many times I’ll be browsing my Letterboxd watchlist and I’ll stumble upon a tiny movie I added probably 3 years ago and I have no recollection of the context/reason I placed it there.
(If not Letterboxd itself then another recommended workflow for this would be greatly appreciated.)

Being Wrong While Being Right

I really like Rivian, and RJ Scaringe seems like a good dude, but his comments nearly gave me an aneurism.

Tuesday’s  Event was about 20-ish minutes shorter than usual. My gut feeling is that when they began filming everything several months ago, they were thinking they’d leave space in the presentation for:
1. A reintroduction of Liquid Glass, and/or,
2. Their new Home initiative/products
… and they didn’t (1)…couldn’t (2).
If you're noticing a new name or phrase being used to refer to something you know by an older or more familiar name, try to keep an open mind. Rather than focusing on your own annoyance or discomfort, ask yourself in which direction the new name is encouraging people to move. If it feels like a good faith step toward inclusion, authenticity, kindness, or greater humanity, maybe set aside your priors and make the effort to take those positive steps right along with it.

This is one of the best communicated responses I have ever seen against people trotting out "these are riots, not protests, look at the property destruction."
