i think IDEs which allow you to use "AI" to generate code should always display those specific lines of code in Comic Sans
A friend attending #ICML just sent me a photo of this front runner for best poster award.
@TechConnectify In my neighborhood there is someone with a Nissan Figaro in the exact color as yours. Since the car is so rare I am wondering ... are we neighbors?
If this continues, I'm going to need a new early-stopping criterion: When the performance on validation set is perfect.

I kept asking it about my own public work for a bit. Some of it is half right. When it's wrong though you get no indication that it's just fabulating. I asked it about Tango, and it just made up some stuff about what a system named "Tango" written by someone like me might be.

Based on this experience I would never trust this tool for anything but finding references.

It does feel though like we have discovered the uncanny valley for text.

Half right?

Honestly, I find it completely impossible to do anything in less than 6-8 hours. Setting up for any task takes at least four hours, every time, no matter the nature of the task.

I could have written the same thing about my experience trying to play computer games for an hour (lol) when the baby was sleeping. If you have less than 8 hours a week to do it, forget about PC gaming.

Had a cool idea, and a few hours to try it.

* IDE needs update
* updater needs update 🙄
* dependency not available for Mac OS
* compiler version is wrong
* two possible alternative compilers, both broken in their own way
* getting help requires login
* Okta single sign on forgot who I am
* Google Authenticator phone is upstairs
* 500 internal server error

It's been two hours and I no longer want to try my idea.

@Riedl They are doing your thing!
now ChatGPT seems really impressive and all but you have to remember that you can be tricked into thinking a rock has feelings by drawing a cute face on it
