We are happy to announce that Meaning published its first article: "Simple concepts and meanings: adequacy from below" by Paul M. Pietroski (Rutgers University) and Thomas F. Icard (Stanford University). In their paper, they present a new formal system to think about meaning as instructions for how to build concepts.
We are announcing the launch of “Meaning: a journal of linguistics and philosophy” — a new Diamond Open Access journal that fosters highest-quality, cutting-edge research on the study of meaning. It places itself at the intersection of philosophy of language and linguistic semantics & pragmatics, and is open to work in logic, psychology, and cognitive science that addresses the study of meaning in language.
