Was just reminded of these old Radio Shack electronics project kits. I got so much enjoyment out of this thing as a kid.
I put together a 32x32 LED pixel display this weekend, and wrote some software so that I can send any image or animation to the display. Also wrote a Mac app that will show you a preview of the display in a window or in the menu bar. This is the most fun I’ve had with a project in a long, long time! I'll have to write all this up and post the code at some point!
Receiving images in iMessage no longer works for me (on any of my devices).
When someone sends me an image it looks like this screenshot. Tapping on the download link and it will say, "downloading" but then never download a single byte.
Anyone else seen this before?
I've tried everything up to and including signing out of iCloud on my device (which was a real pain). Still not working.
