Since #37C3 is confirmed ( https://content.events.ccc.de/cfp/37c3/index.en.html ), I'm thinking about submitting a talk about the narratives hackers choose to describe themselves. Let me know what you think about these titles:

4. Cyberpunk is Deprecated. We need a new language
The Micro.blog community loves photo challenges. We’ve done several month-long challenges with new prompts posted everyday. We also did a special 24-hour challenge in October 2020. Modeled on the award-winning “A Day in the Life of…” series, the challenge is a collection of photos taken during one 24-hour day, a little snapshot of the community and the world we inhabit. (The 2020 photos are still available to view in this special challenge photo collection.
Hybrid I was a latecomer discovering Hybrid, starting around 2014. We had spent a weekend in the mountains of Western North Carolina and were driving back home through some backroads. I was listening to “Morning Sci-fi”, perhaps for the first time. It was late in the afternoon and we came across a field that opened to this amazing sky. I had to pull off and take some pictures. I didn’t notice the similarity until much later.
The new joinmastodon.org website delivered by @oakstudios is live (has been for a little while, actually, but I've been working on it still). I think it's the best it's ever been. Check out the branding and about pages too!
