Mike Godwin (he/him) on X

Drawing Bayesian inferences after extensive sampling, I've determined that it's 99-percent certain that anyone who uses "woke" as pejorative will turn out to be a fuckhead. Please don't blame me for pointing this out--it's just science.

I want threads on Mastodon to be called “multi-toots”. So that posters of threads can say of themselves “I contain multi-toots.”

(Which otherwise only works as a complaint to your gastroenterologist.)

At the office, they have these electronic doors. On one of them in the bathroom, the cover for the batteries is broken off, so someone taped it back on with packing tape.

The doors are frosted glass. The packing tape’s adhesive fills in the microscopic pits of the frosting sufficiently and with a similar refractive index to glass, creating a “hole” in the glass.

Anyway, so packing tape lets you see into/out of the shitter.

I think this is geospatial binary data, but I don't know the format. Try a bunch of things and figure it out

It correctly guessed it was a WKB point and decoded it for me using "from shapely import wkb"
