It's been three years but Iโ€™ve found another bug worth writing a blog post about

Zoom Transition with Sheets Ignores Detents (FB22262829) | Michael Berk

SwiftUI ignores presentation detents on a sheet when using a Zoom Transition

@marcoarment IIRC itโ€™s actually been like that for years
@christianselig the proprietary connector on one end makes sense for waterproofing, but usb-a is inexcusable

Instead of adding your 2FA codes to a single contact, you can have iOS auto-delete them
Honestly, I really like iOS 26. They fixed a lot of the bad interactions. Things like confirmation dialogs now happen where you tap. No dumb back buttons with a title that is always compressed. No โ€œDoneโ€ button everywhere. Faster app open animations. Less wasted space on toolbars.
Why is it that the Hermes Apple Watch is the one with a pixel art watch face

MacPaint makes an appearence in the 2025 Hermes Apple watch face. Also it includes a mini clock? Anyone have a Hermes Apple Watch with the RC on it? "A MacPaint bucket fills in gallery window panels with orange. The horse and the lad peek out from a panel and the bucket fills it

@bzamayo Given that the opt out only lasts a year, I wonder if thereโ€™s a chance that the iTunes app is killed off before then
@bzamayo Genuinely surprising to me that Masimo isnโ€™t just willing to settle
Interestingly, the iTunes Store app on iOS 26 seems to be using UIDesignRequiresCompatibility to stick with the old design. Given the opt-out is going to be removed in the future, I wonder if this might them sunsetting the iTunes Store soonโ€ฆ

On iOS 26 Beta 3, I have a UITabBar on a view with systemBackground as its background color. In Dark Mode, the text for the non-selected items appears black, and is impossible to read.

Any idea what I could be doing wrong? It works fine in SwiftUI, and none of the system apps have the same behavior.
