@mathowie my guess is DNS queries would be faster if I measured them, but in practical usage, nope. I’ve been using 1Blocker for years though, so I already had the worst offenders filtered out.
I’ve been trying out Pi-hole on my home network this week and it’s been good. It’s more than just ad blocking. Custom block lists, multiple DNS providers, and, most importantly, getting visibility into everything that’s happening on your network.
