It's trivial to prove existence of something and extremely hard to prove absence of something. By same principle, it's easy to break trust but extremely hard to maintain it. Which is mostly why we can't have nice things.

At this point in time it's more important than ever that #ai safety research gets more attention. There should be enough funding in this field!

My best hope is that somewhere along the way they invent deterministic code execution.
