@lorihc @twostraws I'm having a similar problem with my child's iPhone and age restrictions. Apps that I've granted permission to (even revoked and re-approved) are being deleted. Sometimes they reappear and then disappear. Submitted both customer feedback and FB20412333.

@dlx I heard this from @dimillian not so long ago, and it was game changing. My VMs were so often poorly done. And it sucked needing to make 2 files whenever I made a new view. Using Views everywhere made me think more clearly about what I was trying to do and made my code less claustrophobic.

tbh, I was a little nervous about calling it out because while paid up front + subscription isn’t common, it’s not unheard of, and I didn’t want to inadvertently criticize a business model on launch day😊

@chrisvasselli congratulations on the launch! The App Store listing looks really slick and nails so many use cases👍

One thing I noticed is that the English description says you can “try it for free for up to 60 minutes”, but the app has an ¥800 purchases price (plus subscriptions) which contradicts the “try for free” part🤔.

@gruber a Switch 2 tidbit I didn’t see on The Verge: Nintendo is releasing a Japanese region locked version for ~$340 USD. That’ll be the one in stores here in Japan. A region-free version will be available online only for roughly US MSRP.

It’s an interesting way to serve the domestic market in the face of purchasing power, FX, and tariff challenges while disincentivizing international scalpers.
