@iceburgcrm I’ll keep it in mind! In this case it was a single seeder that copied information from an old database… so it was already weird.

I discovered today that it’s possible for a #laravel 8 seeder to run out of memory without generating any sort of error message. It just quits. On the list of ā€œfrustrating issues to debugā€ it’s up there.

Future reference, ā€œphp artisan tinkerā€ is your best friend.

@derickr Hah, oops. My memory got a few versions confused. It was actually version 5.2 based on the dates.
