@siracusa apples Apple Pay team had acknowledged that it’s a bug and has resolved it. Now my 15 pro max battery lasts for about two full days

I'm not sure. Apple thought it was corrupt data in my iOS backup but i've restored without backups with no change. The only thing that seems to work is removing apple card from the wallet. Still really strange. I have another follow up today and if i learn anything i'll share it.

Hey ATP! I had issues on several iPhones for years where apple wallet (narrowed it down to Apple Card) is regularly consuming most of my battery life in the background of all of my devices. What the heck is this?
I’ve gone through so many hoops with advanced customer support and genius bars over the years trying to escalate that I believe it must be a bug and not specific to my devices and have managed to reach the product team multiple times.
@marcoarment I started having the same issue a few months ago and not sure when it started because I only use it for CarPlay. Tried gently cleaning it with a toothpick but no luck.
@caseyliss watched that last night In the hospital with my kid and I was glued.
