Press release of our forthcoming project with Foundation Scotland to review the design, operation and governance of Community Benefit Funds (CBFs).

CBFs accounts for ~£25m in Scotland alone but are expected to grow dramatically as onshore/offshore wind boom and newer sectors like nature-based carbon offsetting gain momentum.

An exciting 6-month project with colleagues to explore best-practice today and how we can fine-tune these funds for tomorrow.

We've spoken with incredible people including Chris Stark Jim Skea Hugo Tagholm Rebecca Willis Polly Billington etc

We've also showcased so many amazing local initiatives across the UK & beyond, e.g. energy, transport, food, music & land. /1

Very happy to see this:

A work in progress but trying to align 'triple bottom line' business models with some key notions of justice and the just transition.

Planning a journey to #France next summer. Travelling between Brittany and the Dordogne with a night to spare. Any suggestions? La Rochelle on the radar. So too in Nantes but the area is alien to me. Thank you.

An absolute pleasure meeting @chrisnelder today to learn more about his amazing @TransitionShow podcast. How it has become one of the globally leading pods on energy transition issues and how they're made it work creatively, financially and professionally.

Awe inspiring stuff Chris. You're welcome on #Localzeropod any time to talk all things US #NetZero.

Enjoy the rest of your Scottish odyssey!
