I was on Socrates DE 2025 so I wrote an article about it:
I pulled out an article from my dev.to Drafts, dusted it off and removed the cobwebs. It's a bit wordy but OK I guess. Please comment if it is not! Also if it is! 😊
The developers don't want something hanging over their heads unfinished. And it's not finished until it's deployed on a prod-like env, ideally prod.
Whether clients want to "ship it" (make it available to end-customers) or not, devs want to finish and start on the next thing.
