Every second they waste in that hearing trying to shut down the Night & Day Cafe is an insult to Jan’s work.
There should be a statue of him at the entrance to Oldham Street.

Cannot recommend the African American Museum in Washington highly enough. Easily one of the best museums in the world, deeply moving and incredibly important. Is there any equivalent space or exhibition representing the history and culture of Black Britons? If not, why not?
