Let me get this straight: The Nonce Formerly Known As Prince has been arrested on charges of misconduct in public office based upon information from the Epstein files released quite recently. That's a complex charge that lawyers will delay for years.

But he hasn't been arrested for sexual misconduct despite evidence and allegations dating back 6+ years. The Epstein files are only adding to the evidence supporting this, yet no charges are forthcoming.

If you ask any software developer if they prefer writing code to doing code reviews then I think the vast majority will say "writing code".

If you heavily rely on AI agents for code generation then your role becomes code reviewer rather than software developer.

@jbqueru Us Brits refer to him as: The nonce formerly known as Prince.

I have just migrated my personal mail server, and (dormant) blog away from US corporations, to EU companies (I wish that EU still included the UK) and I feel a lot better.

I've seriously reduced the costs. And I mean **SERIOUSLY**

@botteaap is that an early red flag? But I know freelancers can't be choosers.
@botteaap @kiranrao If you haven't got the bandwidth to review AI suggestions then you shouldn't be using AI for code generation.

At school we were always taught that in the English language the letter 'Q' is always followed by 'U'.

So why does the alphabet go: M-N-O-P-Q-R-S-T-U-V. Shouldn't it be: M-N-O-P-Q-U-R-S-T-V?

@botteaap exactly. Folks that don't/can't produce content are impressed by LLMs that can do it better than them. But that clouds their judgement.

The whole appeal of AI development to many companies is that senior management wants to ask a simple question to deliver what they want without having to answer lots of stupid questions from developers.

AI may deliver exactly what they ask for, but not what they want.

@lehtimaeki You're only allowed 'free speech' if you have orange skin.
