Look. You don't have to read books. No-one is making you. You're an adult now. There's videogames, films, and TV-series that are telling great, wonderful stories. They sometimes even make you think about the human condition.
But: some of us do read for entertainment. The #Discworld Series e.g. is popular and only briefly alludes to sex if it mentions it at all (and women still like it! Shocker!)

Personally, as a huge scifi geek, books are THE place where huge scale, interesting and innovative scifi is able to comfortably happen...
Because it's "just" words and takes place in the imagination and therefore it doesn't cost millions for cgi etc 🀷🀷

So I'm able to access more than just the two big franchises starting with Star...

@checkervest I remember seeing this book in German bookstores, years ago. It was basically just a collection of obscene and vulgar graffiti found in ancient Roman ruins.

I think back then I had this image of Romans in my head, like... Composed, somber etc but at some point my brain went: oh, these were just or people like us 😁

Anyway, finished the crochet project I've been working on for a month or so!
