@inscript i use it to transform the Tidal patterns that i launch with the Midi Fighter Twister. basically there are number keys from 1-8 and the rest are modifiers M1-M7. then i can hold e.g.

M1+4 -> fade in the pattern over 4 cycles
M2+8 -> launch the pattern at the start of the next cycle divisible by 8
M3+1 -> set performance flag 1 (can be mapped to anything in the Tidal code, e.g. drum fills)
M4 -> stack multiple patterns and launch them all simultaneously when M4 is released
